Daylife Developer Challenge … now with more Yahoo!

July 15, 2008

Yahoo! (who recently announced the super-cool Yahoo! BOSS, in use by Daylife) is offering a bonus prize as part of the 2008 Daylife Developer Challenge: a bonus $2000 for the best Daylife/Yahoo! mashup. The venerable Bill Michels will be judging.

We’ve gotten sneak peeks at a few of the entries, and some are mind-bending. (Wish I could share them now, but it seems that everyone is hoarding their entry till the last minutes, so they don’t give away any ideas). Only 10 days left till the deadline!

Alexa 2000

July 8, 2008

Our showcase site, daylife.com – a demo for some of the cool things you can do using our platform – is starting to catch on in its own right. It just passed the Alexa 2000 threshold. daylife.com - Traffic Details from Alexa_1215530765494 With zero marketing.  (I’m not sure if “2000″ is really a threshold – “1000″ seems more appropriate, but I’m pretty pleased and can’t wait to share.) So if publishers need any more proof there is value in adding Daylife-power to your site, hesitate no more.  You can take our platform and make your own entire clone of Daylife, if you wanted to.
